TOUGH BOND Film
Expected release SUMMER 2012
Tough Bond is an urgent message from Africa that documents the disappearance of the village, told through the lives of 3 Kenyan street kids, hustling, sniffing glue, surviving in a parallel society with no tribe but the one they create for themselves. Shot over two years, we lived with our characters and followed their stories from the most rural villages of the country to the hearts of its biggest slums.

We are currently raising funds to return to Kenya with the finished film and show it everywhere. We’ll hang sheets from buildings and fire up the generator. We’ll park the truck where the road ends and project it. We’ll assemble thousands and play it loud. Help us do this tour. It’s our Cape Canaveral moment. Click the pink “donate” button below. Your support of Village Beat is tax-deductible.
